This session will include a factual, fascinating discussion of Ancient Mali and Early Angola history and culture. Curriculum connections to Va Social Studies and SOL will be highlighted. The participants will be able to experience the history, art, music, and culture of these African countries as well as engage in hands-on experiences that can be utilized in the classroom, virtually or in person. The resource books which are on the Va Dept.Ed Resource list will be available for participants at a discount.
