Brent Roberts is Dean of the amazing Greenwood Library at beautiful Longwood University. A native of Washington State, Dr. Roberts holds masters degrees in Library & Information Science from the University of Washington in Seattle, and in Public Relations & Communication from Montana State University Billings, along with a PhD in American Studies from Montana State University Bozeman. When not on campus, he likes to hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains and explore the highways and byways of the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. On Friday March 12, 2021, he will speak about one of the greatest skills involved in “Branching Out” and making connections with students, parents, administrators, and fellow teachers: The Lost Art of Listening.
