Jen Spisak, a school librarian from 2004-2016, received a Ph.D. in Educational Research & Evaluation from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is an Assistant Professor of School Librarianship at Longwood University. Her book Multimedia Learning Stations and other articles have been published by Libraries Unlimited. She was her school’s Teacher of the Year in 2011 and the Virginia Association of School Librarians School Librarian of the Year in 2012. Her main research topic is information literacy in K-12 students.
