Tara Sanz is a school librarian at Glasgow Middle School in Alexandria, VA. After 20+ years of teaching ELA in the middle school, Tara graduated from Longwood University with a Master's Degree in School Librarianship. The transition from ELA to school library was seamless and the best move ever! Tara runs a very lively library program with a concentration on developing a love for reading for all in the building, coteaching classes with teachers, providing SEL in the library, and empowering students through community service. Tara is a National Board Certified Teacher and renewed her license in 2020. Tara teaches FCPS Academy classes focused on helping teachers through the National Board process.
